Welcome to Cocoa Club Ghana
A club of excellence dedicated to cultivating scientific curiosity and showcasing career pathways in Ghana’s cocoa industry “from bean to bar.”

COCOA CLUB GHANA
From classrooms to cocoa farms, we inspire the next generation.
What is Cocoa Club Ghana?
Connecting youth with cocoa from bean to bar.

Founder: Michael Owusu-Manu
A fun-based educational outreach program that connects youth to cocoa’s journey — from cultivation to consumption — through science, tours, creativity, and leadership.
The Cocoa Club Ghana is a fun-based educational outreach program dedicated to empowering pupils, promoting cocoa consumption, and fostering interest in the cocoa sector both in Ghana and globally. We aim to broaden scientific understanding and provide opportunities for students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings
It is an opportunity for our younger generation to develop and promote their interest, realize their scientific skills and fulfill their quest in acquiring in-depth knowledge and information through activities in the cocoa sector.
The Club will provide insight into career opportunities within the cocoa sector by understanding the sector and activities within. It will also provide information about cocoa farming, marketing, trading, processing and manufacturing in cocoa so they can appreciate how wealth can be created along the supply chain
Our Vision: To be Ghana’s leading cocoa education and engagement club, nurturing future scientists, farmers, researchers, entrepreneurs, and chocolatiers.
Our Roots: Founded by Michael Owusu-Manu, former Deputy Director, Social Science and Statistics Unit, Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana, Ghana Cocoa Board. The club’s expansion is proposed to reach schools across the Tafo township, Abuakwa North Municipal District, Eastern Region, and beyond, building on successful educational visits.
