Barry Callebaut – Nyonkopa Cocoa Buying Company Ltd, through The Cocoa Club and its founder, Mr. Michael Owusu-Manu, donated a total of 9,213 educational materials made up of textbooks and storybooks to the Municipal Education Directorate for onward distribution to 37 public schools (Primary and Junior High Schools) within the municipality.
Receiving the items, the Municipal Director of Education expressed profound gratitude to Barry Callebaut – Nyonkopa Cocoa Buying Company Ltd and The Cocoa Club for the generous support. She described the donation as a timely intervention that will significantly enhance teaching and learning, promote literacy, and improve pupils’ access to quality educational materials.
She further assured the donors that the materials would be equitably distributed and effectively utilized for their intended purpose.
